My Teaching Philosophy is to encourage my students to find their own voices, breath and connections to themselves. There is no “one size fits all” approach to anything that we do and coming to our mat is a place to truly connect with our own personal fit. While I may have plenty to say, I make room for you to allow your mind and body to speak up.
My Daily Rituals for Balance: I engage in daily yoga personal practice, finding moments of quiet, and connecting with nature.
What are you most proud of?
I am most proud of my daughter, being her mother, and preparing to be the mother of my new son on the way.
What RFR cause is closest to your heart and why?
Mental health rehabilitation is the RFR cause that is closest to my heart. As a survivor of many different struggles with my own mental health, as well as many of my loved ones being affected by mental illness, it is one of my biggest life’s purposes to help others find their path to healing and mental wellness.
What legacy of change do you hope to inspire in the world?
The legacy of change that I hope to inspire in the world is acceptance. Through modelling and teaching others, I hope to break stigmas and barriers that keep us disconnected from one another.
